I have been passionate about art and design for most of my life. These days my main focus is on 3D modeling and realistic clothing simulation. Being able to recreate real world garments in a virtual space is something I find especially satisfying.
I'm proficient in the use of Marvelous Designer which is the leading software for cloth simulation and 3D fashion design. I also know my way around most aspects of Blender – editing, modeling, sculpting and rigging, as well as rendering and animation. I'm familiar with the limitations of exporting creations from Blender to other software such as game engines, and my experience at 2D art and image manipulation in Photoshop allows me to do texturing work.
I started my career focusing on other aspects of computer sciences, mostly web programming and databases, which are still things I enjoy working on. In the meantime I pursued art and fashion design as a hobby. I'd also grown up around sewing and pattern making from a young age as I helped my seamstress grandmother. In that way, arriving at this point where I'm comfortable using all those skills to bring any garment to life as a 3D model and put it in a game feels immensely satisfying as it is a combination of my professional skills and personal hobbies.
